My writing journey began about 5 years ago. The introvert in me was afraid of sharing her work. What would people think? l felt like l was talking some strange stuff and when l started sharing my work on my Facebook page, very few people could relate. l kept writing and posting my write ups. I had my worries. I doubted whether l was using the right Grammer and l had to keep confirming the meaning on Google? English is not my first language. At some point, l learnt not to care. l kept writing without caring if the English was good or not, and that's how l grew. Starting from the very bottom allows you to appreciate every single milestone. l had the chance to publish this work four years ago, but l didn't feel ready. And am glad that l waited because this book looks nothing like the initial draft. I started writing during one of my lowest moments. When l had to differ from school for lack of school fees. My outer situation was dreadful but l took advantage of that to cultivate a strong, beautiful inner self. Personal development is a journey.
