This is a simplified parents' guide on the new competency based curriculum, it is developed using the resources from KICD facilitators manual, basic education framework manual, and newspaper excerpts on the new education system. It provides parents tips on what they need to know so as to empower them to partner with the teachers, schools and other educational stakeholders in the academic lives of their children.
