The Bleeding Sands

An Anthology Of Poems

Author Prof. Ngugi Wamkirii

This collection is a heart-throb and consist of protest poems that are a far and wide cry by the impoverished and down trodden. It is forged of iron tears of resilience and the sweat of hard work by the masses who have been relegated by reigning systems to the shores of abjectivity. The poems are a scream of a widow and a wail of a marooned child. They are a heavy breath and stench of the sweat of a poorly remunerated workman. It is a summation of the dreams of those that toil day and night and seek to exonerate man from the shackles of all forms of oppression.
