Book summary

After 8 years in the elite military intelligence team, Prince becomes the hunted. He is hounded into a court of law where he is eventually sentenced to serve 4 years in prison. This is a classic case of falling from grace to grass. On the judgment day, Prince says a short prayer to God to give him the strength to withstand whatever lies before him. Life in prison is not easy but here is a man who has sworn not to be indoctrinated in the criminal lifestyle as he still has hopes of restarting his life once his appeal is heard or he finishes his sentence. The appeal process takes a painfully long period of two years and Prince is finally acquitted. As he leaves the prison gates, he swears that he will never find himself in such a situation again at all cost. This resolve is greatly tested when a pastor's wife, known to him for many years approaches him and offers him Ksh 600,000 to help her kill her husband.
