We all know the story of the prodigal son and how he squandered his inheritance. The prodigal daughter differs from the wasteful connotations of the word ‘prodigal’, and narrates the story of a daughter who left home with only ‘her womb’ and returns prodigious with the next generation of her family. It doesn't matter whether she can afford the kids she gives birth to, she still deserves her children like any married or able mother.
