Book summary
The play, The Second Coming addresses the awakening of parental responsibilities in societies. It is a timely representation of what befall most children especially those who find themselves in less fortunate families. The play follows the story of Brian Nyang’ute by highlighting the challenges of parenthood and the need to address those challenges soon before they get out of hand. Nyangu’te struggles to live with a father who is fast to device ways of escaping filial obligations. The family's miseries earn the intervention of the society that arrives in time to salvage the situation of child neglect and irresponsibility which are the dangers that lurk behind the children.
