Wisdom is divine deep understanding of things and the ability to make sound judgment against many tricky situations we find ourselves in the world today . The Solomonic wisdom was the greatest asset to the children of Israel. Those who lack wisdom will drift badly into the den of foolishness, brainless and may become lunatics who can be destroyed easily and mercilessly. Without God’s wisdom we are completely cooked and we will always be in the devil’s menu. God uses wise people like preachers of the gospel to minister to the world. No one can survive this world of confusion and immense deception without wisdom from above. The world wisdom including excelling in academics is not enough at all. That is why today there are many professionals with exciting degrees but they fail miserably and terribly in life due to the lack of the real wisdom. Real transformative wisdom comes from God and not just the education systems in the world. Wisdom is the old and the new gold. We ,therefore, seriously need wisdom from God so as to excel in life. The beginning of wisdom is to fear God, hence without God foolishness is in abundance. When you find the wisdom of God you find life and prosperity. Children without wisdom bring shame and stress to their families. Earthly wisdom is actually foolishness to God. Wisdom from above is pure, peaceful, gentle, courteous, full of compassion, reasonable, sincere, straight, impartial and with good fruits. The book gives a scan of the three wisdom books in the Bible ; Proverbs ,Ecclesiastes and Job. The book also teaches that wisdom is the greatest resource for man on earth and without it we make many blunders in family, church, community and nation. Without wisdom many things go wrong in our lives. Everything in this world is vanity without wisdom from God and it will be like chasing after the wind which you will never catch up. The book further sheds light that perseverance and patience in suffering leads to victory in life. Trusting God to the final end despite the suffering, stress and hardships is the hallmark. The whole duty of man on earth is to fear God and follow His commandments. The book presents a total of 2597 words of wisdom (proverbs and wise sayings) both from the Holy Bible and from prominent religious leaders , communities, philosophers, scholars, business people and politicians across the world (Kenya, Africa, Asia, Europe and America) from the period 400 AD to 2024 which is a span of over 1,600 years . Part one of this book ,made up of 700 wise sayings ,has been written to reveal the true biblical wisdom . They have been explained in concurrence with biblical application while part two, made up of 1897 wise sayings ,are for general application in life .They may look contradictory but it will depend on your interpretation and application .The book is very rich and handy for preachers, the church, media, speech & report writers, corporate leaders, politicians, academia, motivational speakers, professionals like lawyers etc., English/Literature students and teachers. It is a book full of wisdom and covers everything including family, love, religion, business, governance, law, careers etc. You are free to pick what is good and relevant to you. Anyone who invests only in the world and not in God will live with suffering or is even destroyed early in life. Disaster is anxiously waiting for those who only depend on material prosperity, education, leadership, family network, pleasure or booming business to live. . Wise People have self control , are true worshippers and practice the Word ,while foolish people are built on a weak foundation and their fall is always greater and louder. The book has put together words of wisdom which millions of people around the world speak every day in conferences, online forums, church and corporate meetings , homes and offices. They have been simplified for reference and application. Many of the sayings agree with Bible teachings. Without the wisdom from God we are completely cooked and we will always be in the devil’s menu. The devil came to devour people, steal their minds, destroy and kill. Don’t give access to the devil by playing into his hands through foolishness. Beware! Be wise.
